G# is the vocalist of the popular band SOUL. He is extremely outgoing and lively. The moment he saw Orli when she first moved into Usodar Town, he immediately behaved as if they were meant to be.

SPOILERS AND PERSONAL OPINION

Having the funkiest name in otome game history, G#’s personality is also one of a kind. Orli and G# met when they visited Dane’s cafe, and straight away G# started hitting on her.

In his route, Orli didn’t have much lead investigating the Heart Ripper case by herself. So, G# decided to volunteer as her unpaid assistant, going as far to prove his usefulness as to collecting evidence by himself even before Orli agreed. God knows where did he found time for a 2nd full time job when he was supposed to be a popular and presumably busy band vocalist.

G# is extremely hyper and lively, behaving like a puppy that desperately yearns for Orli’s attention. While his over the top behavior initially puts Orli off, she slowly warmed up to him when she realized that G# was indeed sincere towards her. Without fail, he lets Orli know that he is willing to do whatever it takes for Orli, as long as she can stay with him.

Just when they got closer, G# suddenly started behaving weirdly. His cute and lively personality became dark and domineering, threatening to hurt Orli at every turn. It became clear that G# has another personality, which Orli named Half.

OMG.

Talk about low effort naming. As if they gotta come up with a name that can rival “G#”, the 2nd personality was named Half, because it makes up half of G#. WOW! Genius! I was raging on the poor guy’s behalf. Like come on, surely he will not accept this shitty excuse of a name?? Bro’s gonna stand up for himself, right? But no, HE LOVED IT. He reacts like it’s the best word in the dictionary that has ever been invented… I’m done.

Anyway, this route also allows us to confront the orchestrator of the “Heart Ripper” case, which is none other than… *drum roll* G#!! Turns out, the town residents that were a part of a cult have been farming hearts as offerings for their gods, in return for their gods’ blessings or help. G# did not instigate it, but since he let the situation continue as he craved the power he got from consuming hearts, he was indirectly responsible for the case.

Orli then entered a strange time-travelling event, where she returned to the time where G# did not have a split personality. There, she learned about what really happened. In truth, G# was called Hahn, a god that came to Earth with his brother to find his missing heart fragment. Unlike other gods with no emotions, Hahn was particularly empathetic, and quickly grew fond of Earth and its residents.

It was during his stay on Earth that he met the time-travelling Orli and fell in love with her. Although he was clear that Orli belonged in the future and he should let her go, he was also insecure that he may not end up with her in the future. This worry and desperation led Hahn to seek greater powers. Eventually, he succumbed to temptations and resorted to consuming hearts. His internal struggles also led him to develop resentment for Orli despite his love for her. Ultimately, he developed 2 distinct personalities, G# and Half, which Orli saw in the present world.

In the good end, Orli successfully let go of the heart fragment in her body and it was replaced was half of G#’s. Meanwhile, G# and Half reached peaceful coexistence, allowing them to live happily ever after.

Whew! What a whirlwind of a route. I felt like I was romancing 3 people in one go HAHA.

I think G#’s route is the most complex of all in this game, involving things like split personality and time travelling. At the start, I wasn’t really into his type of cheerful and overly-vibrant personality. But by the end, his character really touched me and it was one of the routes I enjoyed the most.

It is clear the depth of thought the game creator had given for G# (in every aspect aside from his name). G# holds nothing but pure love and yearning for Orli, Half is filled with anguished love and possessiveness, while Hahn demonstrates a mixture of both, along with an additional layer of wisdom befitting of a higher entity.

Out of all 3 personalities, I really loved Hahn the most. His character design is HOT. And you can see from his demeanor that he can be your playful and caring friend that you confide in, but when trouble arises, he will spare nothing to protect you from all harm. And as a supernatural being, he is entirely capable of doing that.

During the time-travelling sequence, Hahn became reluctant to part with Orli after falling for her, and even contemplated keeping her in his timeline so that they can be together forever. On the other side of the screen, ignoring all logic, I was screaming: GO FOR IT!!

Anyway, I adored the cute puppy G#, enjoyed the thrill of the domineering Half, and the heart-wrenching love of the beautiful Hahn. Play the game! I am sure you will enjoy his route as much as I did.
