Noah is a teenage boy who recently moved in next to Claire as her neighbour. He appears friendly and helpful, and is quick to befriend Claire and her family.

SPOILERS AND PERSONAL OPINION

Noah became extremely obsessed with Claire, and was furious that Claire wanted to pretend that nothing happened between them after their one night stand. He filled his room full of Claire’s pictures, which Claire found out about later. He did not understand why Claire would treasure her relationship with her husband when her husband had cheated on her. He proceeds to blackmail Claire, threatening her and forcing her to stay with him. Noah is not above using violence to achieve his goal. He had murdered Claire’s friend, Vicky, and had attempted to murder Claire’s family in order for them to “start anew”.

Poor guy probably had some kind of trauma after witnessing his own father cheating on his mother, which resulted in his mother committing suicide. It is likely that this sparked his obsession with Claire, seeing how Claire was in a similar circumstance as his mother. This does not justify Noah’s violent and murderous nature. Still, why did Claire had to stab him in the eye? That was needlessly gross and painful to watch. Not to mention, now Noah’s handsome face is ruined. Pity.
