Kazue is a delicate lady who lived in the protagonist’s neighborhood. She had lost her husband awhile back, and has extremely volatile emotions.

SPOILERS AND PERSONAL OPINION

The protagonist met Kazue when they were looking for job. Empathizing with the protagonist’s situation, Kazue was quick to welcome them into their house as a helper. She quickly became attached to the protagonist, and became extremely jealous whenever the protagonist had the tiniest amount of interaction with her sister, Nanako.

At some point, she started keeping napkins used by the protagonist, treating them as precious keepsake. She also bathed in bath water used by the protagonist to “let their germs enter her” so that they can be one.

Eventually, Kazue pressurized the protagonist into moving into her home and staying with her for good. She then proceed to murder Nanako who had taken care of her thus far, as she thinks that there is no need for Nanako anymore now that the protagonist is together with her.

Finally, Kazue coerced the protagonist to become a married couple with her. This way, she can be a happy bride with a loving partner once again.

Kazue is a highly sensitive person, and is very prone to emotional outbursts. While she may appear kind and empathizing in the beginning, she quickly becomes tiring and selfish. When interacting with the protagonist, Kazue always makes clear what she wants, and needs the protagonist to understand her and accommodate with her. Meanwhile, the protagonist can only suck it up and go along with all her wishes.

Nevertheless, Kazue’s route was very interesting to play, as her unpredictable mood and actions always keep me guessing what might happen next. Her character was well-written, and it is easy to empathize with the protagonist’s circumstances.
