The protagonist was left alone after the death of their parents. Depressed and isolated, they were soon forced to face the world by themselves. In their journey, they meet all sorts of interesting characters, some are nice, but many more are downright horrifying. Will it be possible to pursue a romantic relationship with them?

SPOILERS AND PERSONAL OPINION

This visual novel features 12 potential love interest: 6 females and 6 males. Each character has 3 obtainable endings, and additional unlockable contents. To establish gender neutrality, the protagonist is addressed as “they”. Each playthrough lasts about an hour or two.

The story presents a combination of horror and romance. Every character is vastly different from one another, and each have their own flaws that the protagonist can try to accept. Interestingly, the character plotlines can range from lighthearted and sweet, to outright horror and despair.

This is a quick and enjoyable game to play if you prefer a visual novel that keeps you on edge guessing who to trust and who to watch out for. I really like how the creator managed to make problematic and terrifying characters appear cute and endearing, and the romance with some of them appear sweet and heartwarming.

In this paragraph, I would like to discuss two distinct personalities: Mateo and Anise. I believe some of you who had played this game would have classified them as yandere or obsessive. However, I ultimately did not include them in the list. The reasons are as follow: The extreme actions performed by Mateo does not stem from his love for the protagonist; he did crazy things simply because he is crazy. Anise is not in love with the protagonist. She is simply desperate to find someone similar to her due to her loneliness, which in turns translate to her fixation on the protagonist.

The above is my point of view, but I am very curious how you readers would have evaluated the characters if you had played the game. Do tell me what you think of these characters, I am very excited to hear other perspectives!
