The term “Yandere”, which means to love someone to the point of illness, originated from Japan. Over the years, this character archetype and similar obsessive personalities has become increasingly prevalent in Asia. Inevitably, this site will feature characters and media from the Asian pop culture for the most part.

This site focuses on, but is not exclusive to male characters and the media featuring them.

The characters featured in this site are classified into 2 main groups: Yandere, and Obsessive personalities. For simplicity, I may refer to them as yando characters. To read more about what these 2 personalities entail, please read this post.

In addition, while some characters indeed exhibit yandere personalities, such displays may be too trivial to justifying consuming the entirety of their respective media for these moments.
