Kent is one of the five heroes May met while working at a bar. While Kent is friendly and gentle at first sight, there is more to him than meets the eye.
SPOILERS AND PERSONAL OPINION

May first met Kent when he and the other heroes visited the bar she was working at. The team of heroes had just lost one of their member, April, during a battle. Interestingly, May looked just like the ex-member. As the team did not want to inform the king about the death of their teammate, they asked May to come along with them to meet the king in April’s stead. However, May would end up following them all the way on their journey to defeat Evil, and she will experience first-hand the dynamics of the team.
Kent was very jovial and friendly; he had interacted very well with May. Even though Kent was a hero, he never seemed to enjoy fighting. When the team had to choose how to go about defeating Evil, Kent was adamant about going to the Utopia Makers (UM), a peace organization, to find a solution instead. If May agree with his proposition, the storyline will shift towards Kent’s route.

Through their journey towards the UM, Kent and May grew closer to each other. While Kent himself was unaware, it was soon revealed that Kent had a violent side. Whenever threats appear, Kent would shift into a berserker mode, rampaging and slaughtering anything that he deems to be dangerous. He would return to his usual self after that, unable to recall any events related to his rampage.
Unfortunately, none of his teammates revealed the truth to him. Some found it easier to keep his berserker side around for convenience during travel, while others just could not bring it to tell him. Kent had began to suspect that something unusual is taking place. But with his own teammates tricking him and denying him of the reality, Kent was kept from the truth.

Later on, Kent revealed to May that he did loved April, but felt inferior to Erwin, who seemed to be way closer to her. Now that April was gone and May had entered his life, he found himself becoming possessive towards May, as he quickly became attracted to her (because the game was so short, there’s no way to fall in love slowly).
In the good end, May was able to stop Kent from being consumed by Evil when he realized the truth about himself after they had reached the UM. Kent was able to keep his berserker side in control, and he forgave his teammates for keeping his dark side a secret from himself.
In the bad end however, May was accidentally injured by one of the heroes when they were trying to stop Kent from his frenzy. Kent blamed this turn of events fully on his team. In his rage, he killed all of his teammates, and slaughtered Erwin in the most brutal way possible. Now, no one shall take May away, not Erwin, not anyone else. He will have May forever.

Truthfully, I find Kent’s route to be quite predictable, given his happy-go-lucky character which will serve as a contrast to what’s coming later. Not to mention the good amount of hints that was scattered within the story with regards to his violent nature.
It would have been better if his yandere side was showcased more, but I do understand the limitations with such a short game. I would say that he is quite the usual yandere that you will find anywhere. But if you have time to kill, do give this game and Kent’s route a try; the story is quite decent for a free game.
