SPOILERS AND PERSONAL OPINION

Jay Jin first encountered Lennox when she moved to New York City, where he happened to be her landlord. Jay was disguised as a boy, and the dense Lennox never realized it until way later.
Despite his intimidating appearance, Lennox can be sincere and caring. Although the two were often caught up in childish squabbles, Lennox frequently showed concern for Jay even though he refused to admit it.

Unbeknownst to Jay Jin, Lennox was actually sent by Luigi to protect Jay. He was a highly capable assassin that work as a freelancer, mostly for the mafia. Even though it was his job, Lennox grew to care for Jay so much so that he treated her as his closest person, and he volunteered to follow through with his duty and always protect Jay.
Initially, Jay did not agree, and wanted to part ways with Lennox. However, soon after she was left alone, Jay fainted from overworking and disregarding her health. Luckily, Lennox managed to find her in time and saved her. From then on, he became even more protective of Jay, and accompanied her wherever she went.

Since then, Lennox treated Jay as if she was the most fragile and delicate thing (which is in fact true given how easily she cries and gets hurt). He would stand by Jay’s side, constantly on a look out for any potential threats. Even the tiniest thing, such as the tying of shoelaces, Lennox would not hesitate to kneel down and help Jay with it. Lennox has effectively dedicated his life and purpose to Jay.
Later, Lennox and Jay went their own ways, since Lennox was furious when Jay wanted to look for Jarte when he had already caused her so much sadness. Lennox was extremely worried for Jay, and decided to leave her to demonstrate his disapproval of her decision.

Thinking that Jay was forced to stay by Jarte side’s after she went to look him, Lennox decided to participate in an assassination attempt on Jarte. To him, the death of Jarte meant the freedom of Jay. His sole purpose was to ensure Jay’s safety and happiness, and he felt betrayed when Jay left him for Jarte after so much he had done for her.
While Jarte did forced Jay to stay, it was also Jay’s love for Jarte that prevented her from leaving. Jay poured her heart out towards Lennox, and confessed that she still loved Jarte despite all that they had been through. Eventually, Lennox began to accept her answer.
After Jay got married to Jarte and no longer required his protection, Lennox tried to move on by working as a bodyguard. Nevertheless, his feelings for Jay was still deep, and he admitted that he sometimes misses her so much, he couldn’t even breathe. Lennox tries to get by, but he will never truly let go.

I quite liked Lennox’s character, but I felt that he never really got much screentime compared to the other guys in the manhwa. Lennox comes off as this clumsy but caring guy, who is extremely capable at his job, but also bad at expressing his feelings. You know that he truly cares for the heroine. Amongst the cast, he is one of the most selfless guy towards Jay, from start till end.
It is never clearly stated the sort of affection Lennox harbored for Jay. Some may see it as romantic, but there really is insufficient evidence to confirm this. It is true that Lennox liked Jay, cared for her more than anyone else, and treated her as the most precious being to him.
But during the time when they were the closest, when Jay was away from everyone else and interacted mostly with Lennox, Lennox never made a move on her. Instead, he simply cared for her like a knight would towards a princess, or an older brother would towards his most beloved sister.
The betrayal he felt when Jay went to look for Jarte despite his opposition can also be understood, as he had put so much care and effort to make Jay recover from her trauma, only for her to return to its source again. Any person who care enough would feel upset by this, and such feeling of betrayal does not necessary mean Lennox loved Jay in a romantic manner.
Overall, Lennox is a good character, but not very memorable. It would have been better had there been more plotlines with him involved.
