Jumin Han is the heir of C&R International and a member of the RFA. Intelligent, calm, and collected, he shows a sharp contrast by his fondness for cute things, making bad jokes, and taking terrible photographs. Jumin has a pet cat, named Elizabeth the 3rd.

SPOILERS AND PERSONAL OPINION

Due to his father’s womanizing habit and wealth, Jumin saw from a young age how women flock to his father and himself for money and fame. Him being a wealthy businessman’s son also made people act pretentiously towards him to gain favor. As a result, he grew disinterested towards people (especially women), and closed himself off from others.

When you joined the RFA abruptly, Jumin treated you with a business-like attitude. As you shared the same values as Jumin, and demonstrated understanding towards him, he began to open up to you gradually.

His father’s womanizing habits were usual, but this time, it got worse. A woman named Glam Choi not only wanted to marry his father (obviously for his money), but she even manipulates him to force Jumin to marry her student Sarah. Anyone with eyes can tell the duo’s intention, but not for Jumin’s father. Normally, Jumin would have been able to ignore such ridiculous situation, but since his father was involved in this, he could not.

The things Jumin treasured most were his relationship with his father, the RFA, and his cat Elizabeth the 3rd. So it was expected that Jumin became troubled as his relationship with his father started falling apart over the duo.

Right then, Zen dreamed a dream where Elizabeth escaped Jumin’s penthouse and got lost in the wild. Sharing his dream in the RFA chatroom made Jumin even more worried, and he began to make irrational decisions such as cancelling his entire work schedule to buy items to ensure his cat’s safety, locking the cat in a cage, and hiring tons of bodyguards to secure his penthouse.

Seeing how unstable Jumin is, and how much his work had been affected, Jae Hee could not stand by any longer. She suggested that you visit Jumin to check on him since you both have gotten along the best despite having known each other for a short time. Soon after you agreed to this, you were sent to Jumin’s penthouse, and he welcomed you with great pleasure.

It was only intended for you to stay for awhile to check up on him before going back. However, as you visited him late in the evening, it was decided that you should sleepover and head back early in the morning instead. Jumin immediately felt better with you by his side, and with some persuasion, he finally agreed to visit his company to settle some business, much to Jae Hee’s delight.

Before he left for work, he let Elizabeth out of her cage to demonstrate how she should be fed. In the midst of it, he also introduced his bodyguard to you in case of emergency. Right at this moment, Elizabeth dashed out of the penthouse and went missing, much like Zen’s dream. This set Jumin into distraught right away, which caused him to cancel his work plans yet again (to Jae Hee’s chagrin lol).

To find Elizabeth, he sent out security guards, checked surveillance cameras, sent advertisements all over the country, and promised award money for anyone who finds her. Stressed over her disappearance, Jumin could not bear for you to also leave him at a time like this, so he asked you to stay in the penthouse while he take care of matters. Unstable as he is, you promised to wait for him to come back.

Alas, losing Elizabeth made Jumin shift his obsession towards you. He starts to speculate that perhaps Elizabeth was never meant to be with him. She is a cat, after all. She would not understand him no matter how much emotions he pours into her. You, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of doing so. You can reciprocate his feelings, respond to him, and match him so much better. He became reluctant to let you leave.

If you encourage Jumin’s behavior, his possessiveness will worsen until he keeps you trapped in his penthouse (see the above infamous CG). He keeps your arms tied, feet movement restricted, and even limit the places you can reach within the house – an alarm will ring if you cross the kitchen, the GPS is installed in your heels. Even your daily meals are dictated by him. Seriously, what a sad life.

If you stay beside him, and gently yet firmly let him know that his behaviors are unhealthy, he will realize his mistake after a few days when he calmed down. Although he still gets jealous and overprotective, he tries to improve and let you go. In the good end, you are able to achieve a healthy and loving relationship with him.

Jumin appears stoic and cold, yet he likes to crack lame jokes, adore cute things, and cherishes the people close to him. He looks uncaring, but he is always willing to put in effort to help out the people he cares for.

Jumin also has his faults. In some occasions, he may be insensitive to the people around him, evident in his quarrels with Zen, and his interactions with Jae Hee. In his route though, he shows great character development, and it was so delightful to watch how he open up and begin to sensitize himself to the people around him.

His yandere parts are fun to watch of course. In fact, it got so popular that Cheritz even made a DLC solely on life with Jumin after the bad end where he keeps you trapped in the penthouse. Do check that out for extra content.

To be honest, I did not expect that Jumin out of all the characters would be yandere, given his personality. It was very interesting to see how his story unfolds. I recommend giving this game a try, for Jumin, and the rest of the cast.
