Akai Ito is a one shot manga about a pair of twins shunned by the townspeople due to the incidents happening around them.

At first glance, it appears that the younger brother Hayate is overly oppressive towards his older twin sister Kaoru, restricting her interactions with the people around them. However, it soon reveals that there is more than meets the eye, and the relationship between the siblings is way more complicated than first perceived.

Akai Ito is a short read, and everyone in this manga seems to have a few screws loose. It is an okay manga for me, with the plot twist quite predictable in my opinion, so it takes away much anticipation and enjoyment. Still, it is worth a quick read for the decent art and unique plot.
