You play as Shinosaka Konatsu, a girl who used to be bullied in the past for her chubby appearance. A boy named Haru helped her and cheered her up during those times. However, due to her parents’ divorce, Konatsu moved away and lost contact with Haru. After many years, Konatsu had lost weight and looked entirely different. Now, as her parents remarried and she moved back to the neighborhood, Konatsu wants to meet Haru again.

In Search of Haru is a tap game whereby players tap on the students on screen to talk to them and earn star fragments to make progress in the story. There are 3 love interests, and a total of 4 endings in the game (1 for each love interest and 1 bad ending). The narrative is mostly linear, as the story only branches out twice nearing the end. As the game is very short, it can be completed in a few hours. The progress can be accelerated by watching advertisements.

The story follows Konatsu as she finds out upon her return that there are three male students by the name of “Haru” in her grade: Takaharu Kiryu, Haruto Yanagi, and Haruka Fujisaki. While keeping her past hidden, she resolved to find the Haru from her childhood. In the process, her relationship develops with the three Harus in her grade.

Although short, I do find this game quite enjoyable as a low-effort game. You can play this game while watching a drama or something else. Since this game is so short, you can complete the game before the mundane tasks get boring. The story is cute and sweet more the most part. Overall, it is a good way to pass some time with this game.
