Kitou Hijiri is a smart, handsome, and capable student. He is the valedictorian of his grade. Strangely, he failed his test only for Ayano’s class by submitting an empty script. Turns out, Ayano holds a special place in his heart.
SPOILERS AND PERSONAL OPINION

Kitou Hijiri was Ayano’s neighbor eight years ago, before his parents divorced and he had to move. He had always been in love with Ayano, and had made a promise with her with toy rings that they will get married one day. He kept that toy ring in pristine condition right by his side all along, treating it as a precious treasure.
After they got separated and Hijiri grew up, he could not forget Ayano and sought her out with whatever means. Later, he found out that Ayano was a school teacher, and enrolled into that school in order to pursue her.
He purposely left his test paper blank to gain Ayano’s attention, in hope that she will remember him after so long. When he saw Ayano receiving a message from her boyfriend who wanted to end their relationship, he threw water at Ayano, soaking her entirely along with the phone so that she would not be able to communicate with her boyfriend through the phone anymore.
When he found out that Ayano had lost her toy ring, he bit her ring finger to make a ‘permanent ring’ through scarring. He also prevented Ayano from getting the wound treated, as he had seriously intended for the injury to stay.
As Ayano is considered a beautiful teacher among the students, some students even have a crush on her, Hijiri is often filled with jealousy. This made Hijiri’s desire to claim Ayano as his even stronger. He had confessed that wanted to let those students know that Ayano is his.
When Ayano tried to distance herself from Hijiri, he sent her a letter to ask her out to the train station. He claimed that he will wait for her until she comes, but he had actually waited outside her apartment to see what she will do. When she came back, he forced her way into her apartment and tied her up in bed, kissing and hugging her to sleep.
Once more, Ayano tried to distance herself from Hijiri even though she began to develop feelings for him as well. This time, Hijiri could not take it and slammed his fist against a glass window out of rage, earning a bloodied hand as a result. As Ayano approach him out of concern for his injury, Hijiri only felt happy that his actions and injury managed to turn Ayano back.
Later, Hijiri intentionally got himself a girlfriend, performing intimate acts in front of Ayano to spite and make her jealous. The act couldn’t last long however, as he broke down and went into Ayano’s office and ransacked it. When Ayano came in, he told her that he would let her go if she were to sit through and listen while he embraces his girlfriend. However, Ayano couldn’t bear it, and Hijiri couldn’t see through his actions as well.
In the end, they acknowledge their feelings for each other. Ayano accepted that she loves Hijiri, and they got together.
Truthfully, I did not enjoy this character even though Hijiri was yandere through and through. I felt that the author had tried to portray him as intelligent and mature, but all I see was a whiny, unstable, and bratty student.
It doesn’t even make sense how Ayano could fall in love with him. She didn’t even remember him. Then all of a sudden, Hijiri forces a kiss on her. Instead of feeling disgusted, she blushed! He bit her finger and it drew blood, and she blushed some more. When he cornered her in the nurse office and assaulted her, she blushed even more!!!
Best, after he broke into her house, tied her up, put her into compromising positions and assaulted her, all she could think of was how gentle he is with her and how loving his voice was when he calls her name. Morning comes, and Ayano realized: she had fell in love with him!
Scenario-wise, there was no build-up to each scenes, probably since it is only a short manga of 2 chapters. As such, each of Hijiri’s outburst seemed abrupt and ridiculous to me. Even though his love for Ayano is obvious and his actions to obtain her are extreme, none of the moments made me pause or was especially enjoyable to me.
Overall, this manga is fine, but not memorable. Personally, I would not come back to reread it again.
