SPOILERS AND PERSONAL OPINION

A creepy story of a lady whose armchair lived a carpenter who was in love with her. The carpenter seems to get what he wanted in the end, as the lady ended up living together with him in the armchair… where they grew old and died together. As they had children together, the chair was passed down through generations, preserved by their descendants.

Weird and freaky, I know. The art style did not help as well. The story is as creepy as it gets. Although the yanderes are indeed yanderes, I think there is nothing romantic about it, just pure horror.

Some part of the story did not make sense. Like, how did the lady and the carpenter copulate in such a tiny space? How did the lady even cope with pregnancy in that chair, big belly and all? And I assume she gave birth outside the chair, and after the deed is done, continue her merry time with the carpenter in the chair, with their baby outside the chair?

Never mind, thinking about the feasibility of such feats is not going to help me make any sense of it. Nevertheless, the plot is quite unique, which is why I remember it to this day even though I had read it a long time ago.
